Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No. My Garage Manager is a pay-as-you-go system. There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part. Opt out at any time and retain all your customer records and booking information, you will simply no longer be able to take new online bookings via your website or send further reminders to your customers that their MOT or Service is due.


Are features of My Garage Manager available individually?

Yes. For example: If you wish to take advantage of the messaging & reminder service without needing the online booking feature then this is certainly possible. Equally you can allow your customers the option to make bookings online without needing to setup the reminder service. Contact us today and we can discuss this further.

Are there any upfront fees?

No. There are no upfront fees at all to begin using My Garage Manager. You can sign up now and begin using it today without even opening your wallet.


Can I add Online booking to my existing website?

Yes. The online booking function can quickly and easily be embedded into your existing website within minutes. Contact us to discuss this further.

What happens if a customer changes their mobile number?
The system takes care of this for you, if a message is delivered to a number that is no longer active we will automatically unsubscribe their details so it doesn’t send further reminders costing you more money.
All customer details can easily be changed at any time, including unsubscribing their details, so that they don’t receive any more messages from you. Customers can also unsubscribe directly from the reminder itself, as it is their right to opt-out.

I don’t have a website, is that okay?

Yes, you do not need a website or any online presence to work with some features of Garage Manager, for example: Messaging & Reminders is a solely independent service that works for your garage without requiring a website.

What web browsers work with Garage Manager?

All Features of Garage Manager work with most modern browsers (Including Mobile phone and Tablet). We recommend Internet Explorer 7 and higher, Firefox 3 and higher, Safari 4 and higher, Chrome 4 and higher.

Can you import my data from another system or the spreadsheet we’ve been using?
Likely so if you can get all your customer information into a spreadsheet. Contact us and let’s chat about it. We can also assist with exporting your data should you require it.

Data Security

Is my customer information and data Safe?
Yes, your customer information is completely safe. We keep the records on secured servers that are located in a brand new state-of-the-art facility in the United Kingdom. They are also protected by state of the art security software that keep them safe from unlawful access electronically.
We are registered with a governing body called the Information Commisioners Office (ICO).
What do we do with your customer information?
We only use your customers information for the services we offer to you based on your requirements. We will not sell or disclose your customers information with any one else unless you require us too. It is not our business to use your customers details in any other way except for notifications and/or marketing preferences at your request.
Who are the ICO and Why are we registered with them?
All public and private organisations are legally obliged to protect any personal information they hold and may be required to notify with the ICO.
The Information Commissioner’s Office is an independent official body while the Information Commissioner is appointed by the Queen. The Commissioner is responsible for administering the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
